I'm a product designer and systems thinker at Compass Group Canada. I lead design across multiple product surfaces including consumer-facing mobile ordering platforms, backend operational systems, and restaurant-facing hardware interfaces.
Over the past two decades, I've learned that the most impactful design work doesn't happen at the component level. It happens when you own the entire ecosystem of a product and the design systems that hold it together.
Experience
Over two decades, I've worked across the full spectrum of product design: from graphic design in advertising to usability engineering at software firms, user experience consulting at Accenture, founding a design agency, and most recently as a product designer in high-growth startups. This breadth has shaped how I think about design at scale.
In 2022, I moved to Canada and joined Compass Group Canada as a Senior Product Designer. I lead design across a portfolio of products serving millions of transactions annually. My work spans consumer-facing mobile apps, backend operational systems, and hardware-integrated interfaces. I focus on building the design frameworks and systems that elevate every product in our portfolio. That's the core of what I do: establish patterns that scale, reduce friction across teams, and create consistency where complexity once dominated.
Personal interests
I've spent decades exploring how systems work across disciplines. Photography and travel feed that curiosity in different ways. In 2014, I co-authored a book called "Obscured Revelations," which brought together visual storytelling and conceptual depth in ways that later influenced how I think about design systems.
